Overview

Jill Bye-Durant is an author and multidisciplinary artist whose work spans children’s literature, poetry, and visual art. Her creative practice is rooted in care, honesty, and emotional awareness, with a focus on belonging, identity, and lived experience.

Her work includes the children’s picture book series Ottie the Otter and the standalone title The Boy Named Ruby, as well as poetry, memoir, and visual art for adult audiences.
