Her work blends real moments with imaginative storytelling, capturing the feel behind childhood wonder and the strength inside survival. Every image reflects her belief that art is a place where truth and beauty can finally breathe.

Jill Bye-Durant is a Calgary-based author, musician, photographer and creative. Whose work explores identity, belonging and resilience. Her debut children’s books, The Boy Named Ruby and Ottie the Otter’s First Day launch in late 2025. Her memoir I Believe Her launches early 2026. Jill is also preparing to release a companion poetry collection Drowning, Still Singing and companion debut EP titled Even Here
